The Broadcasters Foundation of America has distributed millions of dollars in aid to broadcasters who have lost their livelihood through a catastrophic event, debilitating disease or unforeseen tragedy.

These dollars come from both personal and corporate donations, and there probably hasn’t been a more challenging time in recent memory for many members of the broadcasting community. That’s why this #GivingTuesday is likely a very important one for the organization.

In this special RBR+TVBR InFOCUS Podcast, Scott Herman, Chair of the Broadcasters Foundation and CEO of SHH Media Management, shares with Editor-in-Chief Adam R Jacobson the Broadcasters Foundation's ability to help people in dire need, and how it has been able to do so across a most challenging year.

Donating is easy, and Scott Herman has set up a special #GivingTuesday Fundraiser on Facebook. As of 10:30am on Tuesday, $2,366 was raised with a goal of $2,500, and donations are accepted until Dec. 10.
