Assalamu alaykum. What if my neighbor is oppresive against another muslim. Is it permissible for me to still be nice to him/her hoping for them to be guided, when this may be seen as treacherous by the oppressed. The neighbors are non-muslims from the same asian country as me and the oppressed are brothers and sisters from different arab countries..
