Moosaa Richardson reminds us of the repugnant nature of seeking the ruling of Jaahiliyyah by avoiding the rulings of the Quran about "qathf", accusing Muslims of fornication or adultery without four witnesses to the act. The one who accuses a Muslim of such behavior without proof must be judged as a liar and a disobedient person who is lashed 80 times and has his testimony rejected thereafter. See Quran 24:4 and 24:13. Those who do not want the verdict of Allah to apply to some "special" people who they deem to be untouchable "allaamahs" (great scholars) are only wallowing in hizbiyyah and Jaahiliyyah, and we ask Allah for distance and safety from them and their evil. This clip was taken from a Friday khutbah delivered at al-Masjid al-Awwal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA) on 1441.01.21.
