Mike Levison, co-founder of Stop SAM

STOP SAM was started in 2013 by two business guys, Mike and Luke – two ordinary guys who heard the story of SAM and wanted to do something about it.

“What if we could save a child’s life,
what if we could inspire others to get involved?”

While international relief organizations are a great starting point for the solution, even those can only meet about 10 – 15% of the global need. When we learned that there wasn’t a single organization focusing on closing this gap, it became pretty obvious what we had to do.

And then we couldn’t stop talking about – to everyone who would listen and a few who wouldn’t: we combined our talents for the service of one goal and the STOP SAM campaign was launched. But this is just the beginning. We have big vision for what this will become – it’s not unrealistic to think that in five years, we can save 1 million children.

But we can’t do it alone. (And that's where you come in).

We are excited to share the story, get people to take action, involve companies and other products – and change not only the lives of the affected children, but of the mothers and family who love them.

Together we can save a life. Together we can STOP SAM.
