All the focus on Coote but Frankie Halton, and Sam Wood are excellent captures. Tom Garratt is a wildcard who could go well.

Enjoyed HKR this season. Their youngsters on their books will have another year. I like their signings.

I think leeds also (like us and wigan) have a lot of home grown talent .

Leeds have some fantasic young players. Their signings are really good. Again they are short of props. Prior has the brain but not the legs. Still think we shoud have signed Martin rather than Hurrell.

It was a sad end for Warrington, they probably had their worst game of the season. They should be able to put on a good challenge with who they have - we will wait to see how they all gel as a team under a new coach.

Wire need props. Their two new props are croacked before they start James Harrison and Bullock. They do have thre great youngsters Ashton ( would love him at Saints) , Wrench and Thewlis. They lack of props will be their downfall in 2022.

Thornley is a think man's Hankinson. Resigning Lelaui has prevented Lachlan Walmsley going to Wigan so not all bad.

What about the "retired" wigan prop Burgess , who they let go , who played in the NRL Grand ??final yesterday

Wigan have some good youngsters KPP and Ethan Havard but also some doormen. French was a big miss and Field not fired. They are missing some Big props and an attacking hooker. The bad news for Saints fans is Briers being linked as an attack coach.

Big shout out to Frankie Halton who was outstanding for Fev. HKR got a good buy there. Absolute scenes at Keighley with a Wide to West moment after looking dead an buried in the first 20 mins.

Toulouse were very good and Batley had no chance - but they have a lot of ex superleague players and are full time. I think the FEv halifax game was closer but dont think Fev will have the firepower to overcome Toulouse. Are Fev able to take their full team over ?
