THIS is the Bio of Pastor Andre Knight.

President of the Rocky Mount NAACP. In December 2002, Mr. Knight was elected President of the Rocky Mount Branch of the NAACP and continues to serve in that position today. Mr. Knight served as a District
Director of the NC NAACP where he oversaw activities of several northeastern NC
counties’ NAACP branches. Mr. Knight was elected as the Rocky Mount City Council
Representative for Ward 1 in 2003 and in December 2005 was elected by his peers as
Mayor Pro Tem. He completed his most recent term as Mayor Pro Tem in December
2014. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the NC Eastern Municipal Power Agency and
is Board Chair of the Rocky Mount OIC Board of Directors.
