We have two days worth of news to catch up on, including the benchmarks for the unvaccinated to go mask-free — and how likely it is we'll hit those numbers in Contra Costa.
Can you take an extra week? You need at least 2 weeks if you’re going out of the country.

But beaches aren't out of the question?

Were it not COVID, I'd take a cruise, but yeah, not gonna do that now.

I don't speak Icelandic or Norwegian, but maybe it's all the Skyrim I've played.

Edie, believe it or not, my neighbors are leaving for Iceland tomorrow. I've only spent a few days there in the summer, but can certainly recommend - as everybody does - the Blue Lagoon.

Tomorrow’s Decades of Fashion costume didn’t come from the Masquers costume warehouse - it came from my Mom’s closet - she bought the dress in a North Beach boutique in 1967.

So. I'm putting it out here for you. My brother isn't going to be around for Thansgiving and my job is forcing me to be off the week of Thanksgiving. And I realized I have money and a deep desire to not be anywhere where people are going to remind me of this year's events. So I'm going to book a trip. Don't know where. Any ideas? I've been thinking Reykjavic.

Oh good, hopefully I won’t get rained on in my 1960s dress at the PRHA museum from 11:30-2:00.

Ribbon-cuttings, boat cruises, what's next for you, Karen? I predict an opera. And a parking ticket.

We watched the Blue Angels from the middle of the Bay. They flew right overhead and there was even a sonic boom to add to the fun.

So I put up Aimee's art on my bedroom wall. It looks so good. Starts my day off smiling ear to ear.

To be fair, Total Chaos was already taken.

I meant "systemic" chaos.

As soon as the words "sytematic chaos" popped out of my mouth, I thought to myself, "Oh, Tyson's gonna jump on that."

We Are Lady Parts is a great show about an extremely non-generic punk band from England.

Edie mentioned "Systematic Chaos," and I was sure that must be the name of a generic punk band, but apprently it's just the title of Dream Theater's ninth album. ("American progressive metal band formed in 1985.")

Will say this: if you watch it and like it, brace yourself for the fifth episode. (And if you watch it and don't like it, try to make it to the fourth episode.)
