Aww, thanks Alexis. It seems strange to me...I think the issue is that the CDC is being factual, which, is good, except it's not the same as intricate nature as policy.

My car finally got towed to the body shop this afternoon, 6 days after the accident. I won't know until next Tuesday or Wednesday whether it's salvageable. In the meantime, my wonderful friend Shoshanna loaned me her 2nd car to use. It was perfect timing, since I was on hold with Enterprise when her text came in.

I think it could be a mess. If you can't verify that someone has been vaccinated, we still have a huge part of the population not vaccinated re kids

I'm just reading the GGB District's General Manager's latest memo, which addresses mask wearing: "Currently California rules generally require that individuals wear masks indoors, with certain exceptions, and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health has not issued any changes to workplace rules regarding face coverings and social distancing. Accordingly, at this juncture there is no change in our ongoing requirements for face coverings at work."

Good news I learned this week on the work front: my WFH situation may be semi-permanent. (I'm loving my WFH situation.) The District's Reopening Task Force is leaving it up to individual Department Heads to make the call for each Department. For the Risk Management & Safety Dept, our Dept. Head Kelli lives north of Sacramento, so she's definitely in favor of telecommuting

I shop at the one on San Pablo Avenue, at least I used to, when I lived in that part of town. Now I shop at Smart & Final on Andersen Drive, whenever I have to go to my *office* office.
