This is from a statewide poll from early March: "Since last fall, confidence among parents that schools are safe for in-person learning has been on the rise. But just 47% said they are very or fairly confident. Less than 1 in 4 parents said they want schools to reopen fully, and the majority said they favor a hybrid learning model. Just over half (51%) of parents said that their child will remain in distance learning when their school plans to reopen this spring."

I agree with you. for example, our company polled all employees to see if we were comfortable going back into the office when we hit orange tier, and it was OVERWHELMINGLY that nobody wanted to come back.
