If my church were put in charge of the East Brother Island, I can assure you that the health and safety of EBIMC guests would be our top priority. We would follow all state and county Covid guidelines and enhance current cleaning protocols.

And I don't think the length of every visitor's nose needs to be measured. We're not finches, this isn't the Galapagos. People just want to eat a nice meal, maybe play a few slots, and watch the sunset. Leave your Darwinian experiments out of this.

I do appreciate that Tiffany and Tyler are eager to welcome visitors back to the island as soon as possible. I'm just not sure if "herd immunity at any cost" is the best approach.

That sounds like an urban legend.

I'm also not sure it's appropriate to use the foghorn whenever a couple on East Brother Island "achieves consummation," innkeeper or otherwise. There are also privacy concerns if that is indeed the case.

I don't want to spread anything that isn't 100% verified, but if someone is turning off the lighthouse during the night in order to save electricity, I think the Coast Guard might like to know.
