We're still digesting our Thanksgiving and the L-tryptophan is still strong in our veins, but we're here with our COVID numbers, news of possible additional closures in Marin, and an update on what happened on Black Friday.
I think the lack of key lime in Californis is in no small part due to lack of key lime trees.

So I learned that the best recipe is on the Karo bottle *and* that's it's properly called "KAY-row" not "Care-oh."

So, when I endeavored to learn how to make a perfect pecan pie, I happened to be at a party where I was chatting with a guy from South Carolina. So I asked, "What's the best recipe for a pecan pie." He said, "Honey.... it's on the back of the kay-row bottle. That's what everyone uses, and the Kay-row recipe is king.""

I used to make them too, but somehow lost the knowledge. I remember you needed pecans.

I really should learn to appreciate key lime. I mean, i've had it, but it didn't really make an impression. But so many people consider it the king of pies.

I should just make you a pecan pie, tyson. They're the easiest pie ever. And it's my favorite, too.

Went to Point Pinole today. It was lovely. And virtually everyone was wearing a mask.

I made an appointment online the day before Thanksgiving… Drive-through appointments were scheduling about five days out… At Richmond downtown

I ordered two pecan pies with my grocery delivery for Thanksgiving. They were out, so the shopper asked if I wanted a replacement. The replacement looked great and wasn't too expensive for a full-size pie. Quite expensive, though, for novelty miniature pecan pies.

Nice. Can't wait to play Valhalla eventually. I started Tsushima this summer and enjoyed it but didn't get very far before getting distracted with something else.
