On this week's episode of From The Back Fields To The Bronx, Ricky Keeler is joined by Tampa Tarpons beat writer John Brophy and Hudson Valley Renegades beat writer/lead scout Steve Alhona.
The show starts with John talking about his interview with Tampa hitting coach Kevin Martir, Anthony Volpe continuing his strong season, and Tampa's first taste of "adversity" losing their series to Bradenton last week.
Out in Hudson Valley, the Renegades have won six in a row and had one of the craziest wins of the season on Wednesday. Steve recaps that, talks about Shawn Semple and Mitch Spence shining in the rotation and Brandon Lockridge back in the lineup. Both John and Steve gave their hitter and pitcher that stood out this week as well.
