Baseball season is ramping up! The Philadelphia Phillies squad in Spring Training has us buzzing about high hopes for this coming season. Joining us this week to dissect some Phillies and farm system storylines is Pat McCarthy, radio voice of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs - the Phillies Tripe-A affiliate. We discussed the new coaches, pitching and prospects we shouldn't sleep on. A great interview!

But first, we gave our overall thoughts on the XFL and whether or not it's actually translating to football fans. (approx. 3:20)

From there, we had a great discussion about the hottest team in Philly at the moment - the Philadelphia Flyers! We specifically talked about the power play and how great of an acquisition Kevin Hayes has been for the team. (approx. 7:00)

We then discussed how terrible it has been to watch the Sixers as of late, and how Shake Milton isn't the key piece to the puzzle moving forward. (approx. 16:15)

This week on the Highbrow Segment, we talked about how the coronavirus is affecting sports, and specifically hockey prospects and the NHL. (approx. 23:35)

On the Lowbrow Segment, we gave our next top-3 list: the worst sports ideas EVER. (approx. 32:20)

What we're throwing down on the Table this week is an in-depth interview with Lehigh Valley IronPigs broadcaster, Pat McCarthy, about the coming Phillies season and what we can expect from the farm system. First, we talked about how a different coaching regime will transform this team. From here, we dove into a ton of pitching talk: Ranger Suarez's role this season, Aaron Nola's expectations, arms from the minors that may have an impact in the bullpen. We got into all of this and much more on the Table! (approx. 47:40)
