Week 15 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2021 season is now in the books as the Eagles beat the Washington Football Team by a score of 27-17 at The Linc. The Eagles are now 7-7 on this developmental season, and they are truly looking at playoff and wild card push once again during this latter stretch of the season.
While Jalen Hurts wasn't perfect by any stretch, this was arguably his best game and performance in an Eagles uniform - after giving up a fumble in the first quarter. He certainly turned things around and ran this Eagles offense extremely efficiently while rushing for two touchdowns.
The Eagles defense was dominant holding Washington to just 63 yards on the ground, and made life rough for backup quarterback Garrett Gilbert, who was only signed by Washington a couple days before this game. While the sacks were not prevalent in this game - as per usual - the Eagles defensive line was collapsing the pocket on virtual every passing play that was run by Washington.
As always, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats, and graded coaches.
