Greetings Peak Performance listeners! After much change and landing in an awesome NEW job! I had a great opportunity and privilege of working with a young and upcoming Oakland County mother-daughter duo Samantha and Karen Kelman who dreamed for years of opening a boutique fitness studio, and spent vacations traveling the country, sampling workout classes and trying to figure out what combination of things would give them the perfect blend of cardiovascular and strength-training, but with low impact.
Tweaking what they learned, the Kelmans created Fuse 45 — a high-intensity circuit workout using a stationary air bike, rowing and ski machines — and opened Cycle & Row, their first studio, in February in West Bloomfield.
