No doubt you're right. Had I known your point of view I'd have asked that question last night. We use Gwinnett Police, probably in the same way it was before, but now the city share of the taxes pays for it. It's probably a wash as far the the expenses go. The only answer to better policing becomes a more direct management of it. Norcross is a smaller city and provides it's own police. Do we want to do that?

Not to answer for Eric Christ, I'm sure he can do that himself, but this would have been a good question for the evening show. In some cases, transparency does seem to be an issue. We addressed that part way through the hour. But ending the charter is a no go for me. I think overall the city continues to be a good idea and I see good coming from it. Now, for how it's done - that can stand improvement.
