Portland State University (PSU) graduate students Sachi Arakawa and Tim Hitchins are both studying geographic information systems (GIS) and they’re the co-organizers of the Resistance GIS mini-conference going on at PSU this weekend. We’ll talk to them about how activists use GIS and why they say geographic data is not a neutral tool.
