In 2014, “The Book of Unknown Americans” was the chosen as the New York Times notable book and an NPR Great Read. This year, it was chosen as the Everybody Reads book for Oregon. Cristina Henríquez’s novel chronicles the experience of a diverse group of immigrants who have come to the US from all over Central America, and end up in an apartment complex in Delaware. We talk to Henríquez in front of a live audience at Literary Arts.
