LifeFight Segment 14: Attack Back Shock Training!

Good Day! Have you seized your chance yet to guide a LifeFight topic? Well if you haven’t, you’re missing out! You can influence our topics through reviews on I-tunes or on my Facebook page, “Jermaine Andre’.” Many have already taken this step by sending in reviews, and even requests on what they would like Rebekah and I to speak on. Don’t miss your chance to guide the direction of a LifeFight podcast with the simple click of a few computer keys!

In the beginning of Lifefight Segment, “Attack Back Shock Training”, I elaborate on the selected chapter, “The Annoying Co-worker” from my book, “Dealing Effectively With Idiots”. It seems that many of my Facebook friends have people at work who they don’t want to be associated with. Well I’m sure to give some awesome and even extreme strategies on how you can dodge the annoying co-worker if you have one. One of the strategies that I give is to always pretend to be on the phone when he or she approaches you. I even give away a secret tactic on how to make your annoying co-worker dodge you! You won’t believe these hilarious and effective techniques but keep in mind that it is my job to give you EFFECTIVE techniques that are waaaaaaaaaay outside the norm! Even my co-host Rebekah shook her head at my mad, but sensible, methods!

Getting back on a more serious note, it has taken many years of experience, testing and even teaching to finally come up with a self-defense formula that fits today’s citizen under today’s conditions against today’s attacker. Most if not all former martial art styles were created during ancient times for people during ancient times against criminals who used ancient techniques. This is why I felt the need to come up with something that would be more applicable for people today and I’ve finally created an effective, easy to learn training program that I trust can aid the modern individual in defending his or herself.

From my martial arts experience I noticed that the biggest concern with modern day people learning to defend themselves was the lack of time. Very few could commit the time that was necessary to study an ancient martial art and become effective with it. So the first thing that I had to assure to do with Attack Back Self-Defense Program, was to design it so the modern person could attend it without disrupting their everyday prior commitments.

Attack Back Self-Defense Program has 3 phases and 9 classes. Three (3) classes in each phase. Class 1 of Phase 1 is Awareness & Grab Escapes. Before I teach you how to defend yourself I feel that it is important to teach you how to not have to defend yourself. Awareness can arm you with the sensory system to never end up in a position where you will have to defend yourself. Grab Escapes are also a pre-requisite because they offer you the power to free yourself and escape without having to hurt someone. It’s very important that you are armed with non-deadly force if I am going to arm you with lethal weapons for life and death situations.

Blocking is also included within the classes of the formula. Blocking is one of the most neglected lessons in the martial arts and self-defense because, it is boring to teach and not very exciting to practice. This is why I make it one of the first things that you must learn. If you don’t know how to block, you will automatically panic as soon an attacker raises a finger at you. This panic will force you to slam your eyes shut and possibly even turn your back towards your attacker. This won’t be good.

Of course you have to know how to unload with strikes and hits on an attacker who is trying to take you down, and I have discovered that Palm Strikes, Eye Flicks, Ear Claps and other non-sporting martial arts techniques are the best for the everyday person to use for self-defense. Attack Back Self-Defense Program arms you with lethal hand to hand techniques that you should assure you are always ready to fire if needed. Striking allows you distance and impact that can knock your attacker; send him to the ground and/or knock him unconscious. Strikes also offer you the choice of escaping after Attacking Back if necessary.

An occurrence that can make you immediately fail in a self-defense situation is the shock that the brain goes into when an attack happens. This is where most self-defense fails. When the brain enters a state that is new to it there is always the possibility of the mind and body “freezing”. This causes the victim to forget everything that he or she may have learned while waiting in fear to see what the attacker is going to do next. Of course this is not good and Attack Back keeps this in mind and this is why I have devised a process in Attack Back Self-Defense Program that takes the brain into the room of shock so it becomes familiar with it. This training tactic of Attack Back is so intense that it put Rebekah into tears of intensity when she experienced it.

So enjoy listening to Attack Back Shock and learn some things about what you should expect and develop in your self-defense training. And if you feel that you’re up to it, get signed up with Attack Back to experience the real deal and get armed for today’s streets. Thanks for listening and be sure to hit us with reviews so we will know how we’re affecting your daily life if at all. Take care and remember that now I’m in your corner!
