Senior Royals have splashed cash on the South Island's West coast after severe flooding.
Prince Charles and Camilla secretly donated to the Buller District’s Mayoral Relief Fund after the floods that slammed Westport in July.
The money will directly help flood affected residents.
Buller District Mayor Jamie Cleine says they couldn't believe it at first.
Cleine says it's exciting the royals have taken an interest in the area.
