2021 could be a record year for coal imports.
The government is expecting that 150,000 more tonnes of coal will be imported this year than last year. Last year well over a million tonnes in total were imported.

Chief Executive of Forest and Bird, Kevin Hague, spoke to Heather du Plessis-Allan about whether it's time to stop burning coal.
