On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are spending sometime in chapters 40-45 of the prophet Isaiah, watching with eye-popping accuracy prophecies that have already been fulfilled and others that, here in the 21st century, are on the cusp of coming true. We will also be engaging in some 'everyday rightly dividing' as we travel through the gems in Isaiah's bag, honing and sharpening our skills as we go along. Much of what we will be reading switches back and forth between the first and second advents, with the reasons for why Israel goes through the time of Jacob's trouble swirled in like streams of cold cream into boiling hot coffee. Isaiah was never wrong, and we would do well to heed this prophetic word.
