On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we travel back in time to that Wednesday morning where Jesus Christ was crucified according to the scriptures, buried in a borrowed tomb, and spent 3 full days and three full nights in the pit of Hell. By the time Friday comes along, everything is nearly finished and not just starting as Roman Catholic mythology would tell you. Not only that, all the modern Bible versions, including the New King James, removes the word 'Easter' and replaces it with 'Passover'. This is a glaring error, and only the King James Bible retains 'Easter', and for a very good reason as you will soon see. Join us tonight on Rightly Dividing as we shatter your illusions about Good Friday and replace them with the sure foundation of biblical truth that you can bet your eternity on. All over the world this Friday, non-denominational Christians and Roman Catholics will be observing Good Friday. The Catholic church teaches that Jesus went to the cross on a Friday and rose from the grave on a Sunday morning. It sounds right, and mostly everyone across the board accepts those days and that chronology. Only one problem. It’s completely wrong according to the biblical account of what actually happened that day on the cross at Calvary.
