We didn’t ask Hulu to get rid of a Golden Girls episode. These companies and all these actions are just distracting from the original narrative. Get back on point, we want justice not your claps and black playlist

I think many of us are mixed with lots of things from islander to African but I have no problem being called “Black”. I personally don’t have time or patience to educate people as to my exact ethnicity. Maybe I’ll say I’m “Blackish” 😂

My Stepfather and Mother grew up down the way on East 55th. They chose to be proper acting people and raised us that way. It is your choice how you carry yourselves when you become adults and raise your children

I definitely know I need to work on some things regarding race. I have a hard time accepting others probably because Black people are still struggling. If I expand my knowledge and experience hopefully it will get better.

I am the daughter of a man who was 1/2 Black Cuban and 1/2 Black Creole. We were both brought up in a da ark skinned black family.

I think mixed race children will identify with which ever side is most involved in their lives. I have some mixed friends that never really dealt with the black side or vice versa. I have a ton of mixed race friends that identify with both sides but both sides of their family were present in their lives.

English. It was hard trying to fit in cause we spoke better than most whites and blacks. So as I became a teenager I tried to fit in because I got tired of being told that I speak white, I ate like white folks, I used too manywords when I spoke it was constant and it continues to be an issue from time to time ,
