Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Ohio voters flooded the polls to give the anti-democracy Republicans a firm, ‘no.’
Then, on the rest of the menu, Ohio voters soundly defending Democracy has given fire to an Arizona effort to enshrine abortion rights in their state Constitution; California is ill-equipped to investigate whether racism played a role in the death of a pregnant Black woman at Centinela Hospital in Los Angeles; and, the Oregon Secretary of State announced that voter-backed Measure 113 disqualifies ten Republican and Independent senators who participated in a six-week walkout this spring from running for reelection.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where hackers may have information on tens of millions of British voters after they got access to electoral registers, but it’s even worse than that; and, New Zealand is partnering with US investment giant BlackRock in its aim to reach 100% renewable electricity.
