Description
Kenn Thomas (born 1958; St. Louis)[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-LOC-1)[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-Russell-2) is a conspiracy writer, archivist, and editor and publisher of Steamshovel Press (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steamshovel_Press), a parapolitical conspiracy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theory) magazine.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-The_New_York_Times-3) He has written...
show moreThomas has authored over a dozen books on various conspiracy topics. These include NASA, Nazis & JFK; Maury Island UFO, about the possibility that Fred Crisman was connected to the assassination of John F. Kennedy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy); and The Octopus: Secret Government and the Death of Danny Casolaro, about the Inslaw (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inslaw) affair. In 2004, Feral House (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feral_House) published a new edition of The Octopus, extending the suggestion of connections to the post-9/11 world and al-Qaeda. A new edition of Maury Island UFO was published by Feral House (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feral_House) in 2011 as JFK & UFO: Military-Industrial Conspiracy and Cover-Up from Maury Island to Dallas.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-4)
Thomas calls his research interest "parapolitics", the study of conspiracies of all colors—from alien abductions and the Illuminati (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati), to the John F. Kennedy assassination (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination) and the September 11, 2001 attacks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_attacks).[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)] The New Yorker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Yorker) called his work "on the cutting edge" of conspiracy.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)] His name has become a by-word for a conspiracy theorist; enough so that baseball was described in print as involving "enough fishy behavior to keep Kenn Thomas swarming for years."[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-5)
Thomas has appeared at Conspiracy Con (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_Con) in 2003,[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-6) and 2007,[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-7)[8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenn_Thomas#cite_note-8) at the Alternative Research Community conference in Bath, England in 2010, and at many other conferences.
