PEOPLE'S CHOICE Spring Season RSS HOUR - JANAKI EASWAR
Nine year old Janaki is training under David Jaanz of Jaanz international Singing Academy and Janaki is David's youngest student ever. Janaki learns Indian classical music from Shobha Sekhar of Kalakruthi music school. She also learns violin from Samanta Calvert and she is self-taught on the ukulele from watching YouTube videos. Janaki has recently developed a flair for song writing and Clarence Jey, American record producer, composer and songwriter who has worked on Grammy-winning records, has selected Janaki’s original as the best among more than 100 nominations from a music camp. In 2018, Janaki took part in 93rd edition of the prestigious Bendigo Eisteddfod and won prizes in two categories. She went on to win Australia’s oldest and longest running eisteddfod Royal south street competitions in contemporary ballad and TV/Film solo.
