In todays fast paced world we tend not prioritize our own health. Often that is amplified for those who are responsible for others in the work place or in life. The hardest part about leadership is to lead ourselves. And there are specific skills and strategies we all need to employ if we are busy but still want to function at our best.

A new study called the Development Dimensions International’s Global Leadership Forecast 2021 Found that of thousands of business executives and HR professionals around the world found leaders and employees are burning out at record rates, and that most executives don’t think they are effective at leading virtually.
•Nearly 60% of leaders reported they feel used up at the end of the workday, which is a strong indicator of burnout.
•Approximately 44% of leaders who feel used up at the end of the day expected to change companies in order to advance; 26% expected to leave within the next year.
•Only 20% of surveyed leaders believed they were effective at leading virtually.

With me today to talk about this philosophy is my long time friend and colleague Jean Francois Thibeaout or JF as I have always called him. He is a a lifelong student of human development, and is also an associate and facilitator at Axellite Leadership and co-founded the innovative “Lead Yourself UP” program on the back of one clear concept: high-performance leadership starts with leading the self first.
His approach to developing leaders leverages business strategy, energy management, neuroscience, functional medicine, emotional intelligence & more. JF has been helping people for the last 20 years so today he gets to help all of us…check it out!
