We've looked recently at what Christians do when they melt their teology down to "heaven/hell" and "saved/lost" or when they become enamored of such creatures as the "early church fathers." All of these things lead to a hunger for the temporal and carnal at the expense of the eternal and the spiritual... especially during holiday seasons. Advent and Lent are more dangerous than Santa Claus and that Bunny.
