Internships offer students the opportunity to gain precise, real-world experience in the career field of their choice.
In this episode, communication faculty members Fred Carpenter and Suzanne Walfoort discuss which type of internships Metro State students should consider pursuing. They also discuss strategies for finding an internship, the benefits of on-the-job training, the differences between mentors and hiring managers, and how to use time wisely as a student intern.
