Heather, I love watching you grow in your faith. It's just awesome. I do think that sometimes we shy away from making disciples because we dont' want to be pushy, but what's been interesting for me to see is that sometimes people are just waiting for someone to take them by the hand. When we actually do it we can find that they dont' think we're being pushy at all. They were wondering what we were waiting for!
As for baptisms, I love the idea of as many people being able to participate and witness the baptism as possible. While I think it's ok to baptize anywhere, it's great to do it in front of the church family. I've had moms help me baptize daughters, sons baptize mothers, fathers and sons, all kinds of stuff. I would love to see more people participating in the baptism of someone they helped lead to the Lord. At Christ Fellowship, that's always an option. Hope that answers your question.
