Neom in Saudi Arabia is a future smart city complex in Saudi Arabia. The Line is a 170 kilometre by 200 metre wide city supposed to house 9 million. There is a smart AI commerce centre calles Oxagon and a mountain region called Trojan. Wheter this will ever get built in the way intended is up for speculation.

Wow! The themes of Amnesia, Torture, Murder, and Compliance are like some carnival game where the prize-grabbing claw sinks deep into our bodies, minds and hearts. It's difficult to look at "smart cities" without feeling a sense of impending doom.

Sound very much like Yevgeny Zamyatin's 1920s dystopian 'science fiction' WE novel. It makes me feel like I'm in a dystopian novel as just too surreal and unbelievable what's going on
