Quadrant Movement Analysis: Taming the Clinical Grey Area
FAKTR Podcast Episode 14 and 15
Featuring: Rob Pape, DC

EPISODE SUMMARY
Welcome to the FAKTR Podcast where we feature a series of short courses you can take with you on your morning commute, while you’re at the gym, or whenever you feel like tuning in. Each episode’s structure is an educational course offering, so links to download the presentation notes are always here in the show description.
In today’s episode, we are featuring a brand new training on Quadrant Movement Analysis with Rob Pape, DC.
Dr. Rob Pape is a long-time innovator in clinical evaluation and treatment instruction. He created Quadrant Analysis, which combines a sub-classification system with theoretical, practical biomechanics. Quadrant Movement Analysis improves and simplifies patient assessment, breaking the body down into traceable patterns which chiropractors can utilize to get better and faster patient results.
Dr. Rob is a 1996 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West and has been in successful practice ever since. His clinical approach is full body and generally combines joint and soft tissue work with movement therapy.
So what exactly is quadrant movement analysis? To put it simply, QA is a framework practitioners can use to collect data for problem-solving from as many angles as possible. Anyone in clinical practice can attest to the fact that there are often many contributing factors for a patient's pain or dysfunction. With QA, you have a framework for assessment that assists you in zeroing in on where to begin with treatment and how to continue triangulating these data points throughout your process of re-assessment to adapt your treatments as necessary.
If it sounds like a tool you can use in practice, stick around. This two part training is a GOLD mine of great info.
