The word budget can often be scary to many people. We all know it is important to have one and even more important to stick to it. But when it comes to actually looking at our finances, or rather not looking at them, it can feel like we are simply delaying the inevitable. We know we have less money than we think and we just don’t want to know how bad it is. However, knowing where you stand is the first step. There are very simple ways that we can better manage our finances, and without having to make more money we can not only continue to do the things we really enjoy but in many cases, we can actually do more of those things while feeling better about it and less guilty.
