Emotions are one the toughest things to teach a child. Many people grow up never talking about their emotions and as a result they don’t have a language set to describe what they may be feeling. Then, often they don’t know how to deal with them later on in life. We do a second part to the episode talking about using this time during lock-down to discuss emotions and understanding what your kids need. Sometimes it is hard for us to know because we are adults assuming kids have the same needs that we have, or assuming kids cannot process emotions.
