show moreBenjamin Hyatt, born in the country music capital of the world Nashville, Tennessee is set to pump new blood into the stagnant realm of real rock & roll with a Gospel infused message. Growing up listening to such artists as DC Talk, Third Day, Switchfoot and Steven Curtis Chapman, Benjamin developed his own signature sound. Although he began singing around age four and performing in churches around the country; music wasn’t his first endeavor. Benjamin raised his right hand to serve in the U.S. Army. After being injured during his service, the doctors said that he would never run again. Benjamin was not done. He did several years of physical therapy and became a federal agent. He released his debut EP Under the artist name Benjamin Hyatt. "The Way You Move” was released in November of 2010, which features his signature sound and showcases his most apparent musical influences including Steven Curtis Chapman, Anberlin, Skillet, Matchbox Twenty and Toby Mac. BHB followed up his first release with the love storied single, "South Carolina Tan". Now releasing music as "Benjamin Hyatt Band" He is currently set to release promising new life changing single, “VILLAIN IN ME” with producer Jordan Perry out of Ontario, Canada. Mixed and mastered by Josh Bonanno as well as a single titled "Sunshine".
