show moreThe Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari encourages you to understand your body. Maybe you’re struggling with a chronic illness or battling a disease. Perhaps you are apparently healthy, but you feel tired or sluggish all the time. Our bodies have ways of letting us know when there is something wrong, so by paying attention to those messages, you’ll have a chance to improve your health and wellbeing.
Our first caller, Andrea, wants to know how she can manage her anxiety, as she seems to get anxious over everything. Nancy advises her to think about what stresses her out the most, then do some research on that topic to find others who have a similar problem and hear how they deal with it. Listen in to hear how you can overcome your own worries in life.
Our second caller, Simran, is an international student who is trying to balance work, school, a social life, and everything else. She wants to know how she can better manage her time. One tip Nancy gives her is to keep to a schedule, but to work in wiggle room to allow for needed breaks or self-care moments. Tune in to get advice on how to make the most of the time you have each day.
Our inspirational guest, Sita Gaia, who was diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age, has had to learn how to pay attention to her body’s signs and live a normal life in spite of her condition. Over the years, she has tried many different medications and treatments and though she still struggles with seizures, she maintains a positive outlook on life, working as an advocate for people with disabilities. Listen in to hear how Sita has learned to be in tune with her body and cope with her disorder.
Our last caller, Abbey, wants to know how to approach a difficult conversation with a close friend who is in a toxic relationship. Nancy advises that Abbey use the mode of communication she thinks her friend would respond to best, and to avoid using phrases like “you should,” instead saying things such as “I feel…” Tune in to discover how to approach hard conversations with your own loved ones.
Maybe you have a tendency to push your body too hard, continuing to work in spite of injuries and ignoring pain and discomfort. Or perhaps you are neglecting yourself, leading to a feeling of fatigue that seems to pervade your life. By being open to the messages your body is sending you, and then reacting to them in whatever way is necessary, you will be better able to live full out.
