Danielle Guilday and Shane Farnan guest host for Leslie during today's show. They are Producers of "The Thom Hartmann Program."

They start the show off by giving their initial impressions of the debate during the first segment.

Next, they're joined by David Shuster, who is a political journalist and anchor for Al Jazeera America. He has also been an anchor for MSNBC and worked for Fox News, CNN, and Current TV. David shares his thoughts on the debate and evaluates the takes of Danielle and Shane.

Then they're joined by Bob Ney of The Talk Radio News Service, as he gives us the latest news from the Capitol.

During the second and final hour of the show, Danielle and Shane take calls from the audience as they give their reaction's to the first Republican debate.
