Leslie is joined by two guests and callers as she discusses the Republican controlled House beginning the 115th Congress with a fiasco that had them first voting to gut the House Ethics Committee during a secret vote, only to reverse course the following day thanks to immense pressure from the public.

Leslie's first guest during the hour was Bob Ney, a former Ohio Congressman who was directly involved in the scandal that led to the eventual formation of the current independent House Ethics Committee. He gives his unique perspective on the matter. Bob also wrote a book about his experiences with this, called "Sideswiped: Lessons Learned Courtesy of the Hit Men of Capital Hill," which can be found on Amazon.com. Or, you can buy an autographed copy at http://tinyurl.com/hd9hxb4.
His Twitter handle is @BobNey.

Our second guest of the hour is Jonah Minkoff-Zern, Co-director of Public Citizen’s Democracy Is For People campaign.

Jonah discusses how the public pressure that led to House Republicans reversing course on gutting the Ethics Committee could be used as a road-map for future victories against the GOP Congress and President-Elect Trump. His Twitter handle is @JonahMZ.
