It’s Valentine’s Day. A day where we celebrate, love and romance. Remember when you were a kid, and there was the time when you gave and got cards? Some of us may not have got that many cards, anyway that’s a different show. But there was some excitement in the air.
Just like perhaps, when you met that “love”. It was exciting, the only thing that mattered. The air and life just seemed so much better. Bur, something happened. Maybe you noticed or maybe you didn’t, but slowly and surely, the romance died. Either you both decided to end it, or you just lived in a sense of complacency, that you ended it without ending it. Or, you still love each other and wonder where that spark is? Or, you lost someone due to sickness or worth. What happens when the romance of Valentine’s Day breaks your heart?
Our guests today will navigate us through that.
Lauren Hope Cleveland does coaching with relationships. I love working with first responders relationships - if you are looking for niche. But I have done lots with abusive, and narcissistic relationships too!
Adele Desjardins-Lepine is a co-dependant no more. She has written a story about self love and how she went from being co-dependant to a happy co-parent.
Adele is a child of divorce and a divorcee herself. She and her ex-husband have learned how to be great co-parents through passion and learning to lift the other partner even if they are not willing to reciprocrate
Topics include:
-This day Valentine’s day can be a good day for some and bad for others. Similarly to other significant days. How do you balance expectations and hope?
Those that are in longer marriages, that don’t feel the “love”.
Losing someone significant .
Divorced on Valentine’s Day.
Relationships with those in first responders.
