Some may not think it, but finances can be fun.

It can be stressful for everyone.

I want to do travel too, but I can’t afford it.

I want too buy that, but I can’t afford it.

It is something you heard as a kid from your parents. And you may have said it to a kids.

Our guests today want to make finances fun for your kids and family.

Chuck Jaffe has followed the rich journalistic history of “comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable” in the financial services world. For a decade, he wrote the “Stupid Investment of the Week” column for MarketWatch, highlighting the conditions and characteristics that made all types of securities less than ideal for average investors, uncovering in the process a rogues’ gallery of dreadful issues and bad ideas. He is also known for terrorizing the mutual fund industry with his annual “Lump of Coal Awards,” bestowed on entities in the mutual fund world for action, conduct, performance or attitude that is “bumbling, offensive, disingenuous, reprehensible or just plain stupid.”

Determined to be more than just another insurance salesman, Tammy founded The Financial Guides. She set about working with clients in a totally different fashion.  Feeling that everyone needs a sound financial education she created her first class“Financial Journeys”. The goal was to provide the accurate, unbiased, basic information in simple English that we all require, but can’t easily find. Knowing that the best way to learn is by having fun and being comfortable, Tammy takes good care of her guests with excellent food and lots of laughter. Further expanding her educational and value added offerings Tammy created “Sandwich Safaris”, “Business Builder Nights”, and “Small Business Class”.
