Paul Gallo is a queer artist, fashion designer, and teacher. While attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, the main focus became leather clothing. This resulted in a collaboration with classmate Toni Shanon, and they sold at NY Fashion week under the label Shanon-Gallo Skinware. Paul moved to San Francisco and started his own label under the business name Gallofornia. In 2010 Getta Grip Sewing Clips revolutionized the sewing industry, it was Paul's invention that was used in place of pins. They are available now through a license with Dritz.com! Teaching illustration and clothing design for over 35 years has been a deep commitment for Paul. This year Paul released his first coloring book into the world: My Sketchbook is the Safest Place on Earth. A coloring book that follows a queer artist's true journey from childhood to the pandemic.
