There's nothing worse than when someone tells us "Just go in your socks!" when you're not prepared, right? Maybe you've got mismatched socks or a hole in the toe. For me, it was at the gym and my feet we're sweaty. But as my friend explained it was to have the ability to discern our balance that we lose with the padding of our shoes. This led to a beautiful analogy that I think applies to all of our spiritual lives!
