show moreWe see it all the time. Church leaders talk about registered sex offenders or credibly accused people as if they've fully repented. They welcome them back into the church with open arms. Ironically, as leaders welcome them they also try to hide the fact that they are child abusers. Leaders often sign "covenant agreements" between just them and the abuser, while congregants stay in the dark. So the question is, "Would these same leaders who welcome abusers into the church entrust their own children to the abusers?" The answer may surprise you.
