Every year, kids get staph, strep, and flu and so do teachers. Teachers and students actually have a higher risk of serious disease from flu, than they do from COVID and yet we don’t close our schools down every year for flu or even require flu immunizations for all students and teachers. Returning healthy students and teachers to the classroom is a low risk activity and the time to reopen schools is now.”
