Late 1967, Jerome and Gene were sharing an apartment on Church Street in San Francisco following their discharge from the U.S. Army. I met Gene in a night Spanish class at for adults at Mission High. Pretty soon, I moved into the apartment with the guys, and Jerome set off on his legendary world travels. Fifty years later, thanks to Facebook, I found and contacted Jerome. Glory Be.
