In Episode #4, Ivonne combines Futuring with a technique called Power Imagery Process. Futuring is a systematic process that features planning outcomes of future events and qualities. For a brief overview of the different qualities of futures, listen to Episode #2.

These processes were shared with Ivonne by one of her mentors, Dr. Gerald Epstein.

Power Imagery Processes or “PIPs” are short, potent visualizations that can help you create desired outcomes.

In this exercise you will be led to create a better future, building from the bones of the past.

Instead of repeating the past, PIPs allow you to practice designing, building, and sculpting your everyday existence with feelings, visions, goals, and enthusiasm. We’ll work in tangible ways in the present so you can create a more constructive and fulfilling future.
