Despite consistently failing to meeting forest planting targets, Minister Andrew Doyle says that targets are still “entirely achievable” and that there is a lot of “misinformation” about planting forests. He also states that forests should play a bigger part in overall farm planning and can be used to help mitigate flooding and as carbon sinks.
