H.D Moore founded the Metasploit Project in early 2003 and later the project was aquired by Rapid7. He spent the last 20 years conducting security assessments, building security products, and pushing the status quo through research, with leadership roles at Digital Defense, BreakingPoint Systems, Rapid7, and Atredis Partners. HD founded Critical Research to address a long-standing need for better network discovery tools. Currently, his research is focused on asset discovery.
