Michael, A thought on voting. Kentucky GOP primary voted in a QAnon believer Majorie Taylor Greene. These folks vote while others sit out. She has a good chance to win and have a seat in Congress. Look at all the Freedom Caucus folks that are in, the Tea Party and now a QAnon candidate.

Vijay Prashad notes (not verbatim) that The US is not in a “community” of Nations; that’s not US policy. The US goal is to be first in the world (dominate). Uses its “force” to have preponderance of power. Even though this detail is in public domain, so many people continue to believe that US power is exercised benevolently. They accept it in the realist way (don’t disturb the big dog because he will bite you).

A lot of "Christians" are Christians of their interpretation not Christians of what Jesus would define as Christian.

The other nuance is that "Christianity" was not coined by Jesus. It began with "followers of Jesus" which became "infected" with the myth of manifest destiny, white supremacy, and the doctrine of discovery.
